Service Description

Paediatric First Aid Course (12 Hours – Blended Learning) Our Paediatric First Aid Course is ideal for anyone working with babies and children, including nursery and school staff, childminders, and parents. This 12-hour qualification combines 6 hours of e-learning (completed in your own time before the course) with 6 hours of face-to-face practical training led by an experienced paramedic instructor. During the in-person session, you’ll gain hands-on skills and confidence to manage real-life emergencies involving infants and children, covering topics such as: CPR and the use of an AED Choking Unconscious casualties and recovery positions Seizures and head injuries Asthma, anaphylaxis, and allergic reactions Burns, bleeding, and fractures Recognising serious illness (including meningitis and sepsis) Successful learners receive a certified Paediatric First Aid qualification, valid for 3 years and meeting Ofsted and EYFS requirements.
